If you live in Madhya Pradesh state, then by this point, you may have already heard of something called the MP Scholarship 2.0 2025 or the MP Scholarship 2.0 Portal, right? Well, under this broader scheme, there are many different scholarship schemes that a student can apply for after checking out the eligibility criteria for each. Usually, there are many different options under this broader scheme that allow literally every student who’s financially struggling at the moment to apply for these programs and get financial aid to keep their education journey going. First Of All, What’s This MP Scholarship 2.0 Portal Anyway?

Well, in order for you to apply to any scholarship program down there in Madhya Pradesh, you have this portal that was launched by the state government for any student who comes from an economically weak background. Though you can find many different scholarship options, no matter what you’re studying, it is mainly for students who are studying in class 11 and above, and don’t forget that it includes college and technical courses.

How To Register Or Log In To The MP Scholarship 2.0 Portal?

Well, at first, it might seem a little confusing to some of you that there is no specific way to register to this portal or even log in. Right? But nah, it is actually super simple. How? Here:

  • First of all, just visit the official website of this portal, which is this one: https://hescholarship.mp.gov.in/Index.aspx
  • On the homescreen, you’ll see so many options related to different scholarship schemes, but you only need to select the one that is applicable to you, like if you’re a post matric student from the SC category then only select the option that says “Post Matric Scholarship Scheme [SC Students].” Just like that, there are options for different categories and different course types.
  • Once you do that, you’ll be redirected to a registration page where you’ll have to enter your contact details and then just simply register to the portal. It is super simple, actually.
  • After that, just log in to the portal, and then you’ll be able to fill out the scholarship application form from there. Like, after login, you’d have to just find the application form option and fill it out with personal, academic, and banking details, along with uploading all the required documents. Once done, just submit the application, and you’ll be good for the most part.
  • Now, you’d have to just keep on checking the status of your application until it is approved or denied. You can do that from the portal itself, too. After logging in, you’ll have the “Student Corner” option on the dashboard, under which you’ll find another option that says something like “Track Your Application.”

Different Types Of Scholarship Options On MP Scholarship 2.0 And Their Eligibility Criteria

1. MMVY (Medhavi Yojana)

The first one is MMVY, where you have to be a 12th passout to apply for this scholarship scheme and must have scores like 75%+ (MP Board) / 85%+ (CBSE). With this one, though, you get a 100% tuition fee, which is just impressive if you think about it for a sec.

2. MMJKY (Jan Kalyan)

If your parents fall under the category of unorganized workers, then you have every right to apply for this specific scholarship scheme. And if your application gets approved, you get full fee support.

3. Post-Matric Scholarships (SC/ST/OBC)

As you can already tell, this one is for financially struggling students from the SC, ST, and OBC categories who are currently in college or doing some diploma course. With this, they can get up to 100% fee.

4. Gaon Ki Beti

As the name pretty much gives it off, yes, this scholarship program is specifically for female students who are from rural parts of the state and have passed 12th class with 60%+. What do they get with this one, though? Oh, that’s about ₹500/month for 10 months.

5. Pratibha Kiran Yojana

Just like the previous one, but this one is for urban BPL female students. As a result of the approved application, they can get financial help up to ₹5,000.

6. Vikramaditya Yojana

This is specifically for students who are financially struggling and come from the general category. With this one, they can get as much as ₹2,500/year, which is pretty decent.

7. Laptop Yojana

No matter which category you come from, if you have 85%+ marks in your 12th class, then you can get a laptop for that, which would be worth about ₹25,000.

8. Awas Sahayta Yojana

Then this one is for specific students, like students from SC or ST backgrounds who are living on rent in some part of the state to carry on their study. If they apply, they can get about ₹1,000 to 2,000/month in rent help.
